I decided to join in and do a ship trade with the creator of the comic Re:Set on Tapastic and decided to make a fluffy pic of the main characters. I was working from home, meaning I had no Cintiq at hand, so I decided to go analogue and use my watercolours instead :)
Also, I want to show the image I got in return, it’s an adorable piece of Gav and Ragna, I love it! <3
I joined in on the Tapastic Secret Santa event last year and got to draw Jules Hasekura from the comic Federation Fighters :) Jules had a really interesting character design, surely not something I’m used to draw regularly, so it was a bit of a challenge to adapt him to my style. But I had lots of fun, I got to draw a lot of man-cleavage and large arms ;)
A very pink Inktober piece, starring Agnes‘ character Nina! I love her design, she’s so elegant, and I really wanted to capture the elegant and shojo feeling Agnes is so good at…it was a fun challenge, and a really fun design to work with :)
For this piece, I used steel nibs, brushes, black and white ink and pink water colour.
Here’s another art trade I did! It’s awesome Jenni’s character Kiriban, Star Trek style! Maybe it was the obvious choice, but I decided to make them like a Vulcan, it seemed to fit them pretty well ;) Had really fun with this one too and am glad I got the opportunity to dust off my Cintiq after a month of Inktober :)
This is an art trade that I did the other week with the awesome Frida Larsson! It’s her role playing character Enith, and I didn’t know much about him when I drew him, so I just freestyled a bit with the expression and feeling :D
