During the Christmas break, I did play a LOT of Witcher 3, and this weekend, I finally finished the main story! It was a good game, I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would! Quite unexpectedly, I really enjoyed the godlings, they were fun and cute with their creepy faces, and they seemed so nice! I also really really enjoyed the trolls, what a delight it was to interact with them :D Anyways, here’s a small doodle I did with Geralt babysitting the godlings ;) And yes, my Geralt has the friendly mutton chops. Whenever my male character can have sideburns, I will give them sideburns ;)
As I’ve told you earlier, I really like Hanna-Pirita’s comic Immortal Nerd, and was very honored when they asked me if I wanted to make a guest comic and a cover for one of the episodes. Of course I said yes! The cover is shown above and my guest comic can be read here.
Again, if you like queer-friendly, positive and funny stories, you should totally check out Immortal Nerd, it’s an awesome comic! <3
I’m really a sucker for trolls, and I really wanted to draw my friend Diana’s troll character Maja, she’s so adorable! <3
I was recommended to watch the anime Mob Psycho 100, and it immediately turned into a favourite with its looks and music! So of course I wanted to make an inktober piece of Mob. Unfortunately, I messed up a bit andhad to go for another style than I initially was aiming for, but I tink it turned ok in the end.
Hey, even though it’s November, I wanted to post some of the inktobers I did that I really liked! So here’s Discord, a villain turned (somewhat) good in the MLP:FIM series. I really like that he’s basically a My Little Pony version of Q (he even has the same actor), and his friendship with Fluttershy is so cute!
Mei from Overwatch got to be my final Overwatch-themed piece this Inktober. She’s such a cutie, but as always all the details in her clothes’ design made me a bit nervous :D Done with black ink and a brush and some blue inkwash on top of that.
I’ve been drawing a few Pokémon during this inktober, and I thought I could showcase ’em all in one post, They all turned out a bit nightmarish, and I guess for Drowzee, it was pretty intentional XD
Snorlax and Drowzee were just black ink with blue and sepia washes while Meowth was done with green and red ink and a brush.
Years later, I still can’t stop thinking about Dragon Age: Inquisition, and especially Iron Bull! I wanted to make something silly since it was Saturday, so I let the dude strike a fabulous pose ;) Again, using sepia inkwash, it seemed to fit him best :)
Another Steven Universe-themed Inktober piece. Done at the studio. I forgot to bring my steel nibs, so I had to work with the brushed I had over there, but I think it worked out pretty okay anyways :)
Junkrat is probably my guilty pleasure in overwatch, haha XD had some fun with sepia inkwash on this piece :)
Here’s Tali from the Mass Effect game series! I had a lot of fun playing with this piece and went a bit crazy with the white ink splatter in the end, but I kinda really like the result on this one :) I’m also happy that every fan art I make of Tali only gets better, she deserves that!
Here’s a Steven Universe-fan art I made for this year’s Inktober. It’s probably my new favourite fusion, Smoky Quartz <3
Here’s another intober piece – Zarya from Overwatch! This is an all brushes piece, and I tried to experiment a bit with wet surfaces and ink blotches, I thought it turned out pretty neat for a first try :)
hey, it’s time for Inktober, and I’ll try to participate with at least 15 pieces this year :) Depending on the quality, I’ll post the pieces here, but if you want to see them all, you should check out my instagram :)
Here’s my take on Garrus, my first attempt on being bold with the ink and use lots of black! For Garrus’ face I used a steel nib and ink though, to get the small details.
So, today’s the 50 year anniversary of Star Trek! I don’t call myself a die-hard fan, but I really enjoy TNG and some of the TOS (and I want to see more Voyager!), and the old films are pretty enjoyable too!
Since I’m making my own sci-fi-comic, and I sometime describe the tone of the comic being similar to TOS, I decided to let my characters from SPEJS dress up in Star Trek uniforms! Swagata, being the leader in SPEJS, is of course the captain while Ragna and Morwen are security/redshirts. At first I was a bit hesitant to use the TOS uniforms because of the mini skirts, but then I remembered that Kirk’s shirt often gets ripped to shreds, so well…
…have a redshirt Gav whoose shirt fell off ;D
(I know, no blue shirt, but I think Swagata would be the SPEJS member most worthy of a blue shirt, but she’s the captain, so…¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
So, during my vacation, I managed to play Undertale. I really thought it to be a really interesting experience with great humour and an awesome set of characters. And of course, I adored Undyne! So here’s a watercolor (and ink!) doodle I did of her, I might try and do something more with her (and include Alphys, which I also liked) later on :)
Here’s another fan art and web comic tip! This time I drew Prim, the super fun villan from the web comic Magic Advisor/Magikonsult, yet another comic with a great cast and an awesome sense of humour (with a big sprinkle of the occult)! <3 I took some liberties with her outfit though, but I tried to keep it to a style I think Prim could appreciate :)
So, recently I’ve been reading the web comic Immortal Nerd, and I really like it! It’s a light hearted sci-fi comic with great humour and a really adorable cast! My favourite must me Pello, the big softie that hates to shower XD So yeah, here’s a fan art of the dude! If you think he looks interesting, I urge you to check out the comic as well <3
Made a little Nightcrawler after seeing the X-men:Apocalypse movie! I really like Nightcrawler and was so happy to see him again on the screen :) Tried a bit more painty style and based the outfit of the movie’s 80’s fashion ;)
I’m not sure if I have mentioned it before, but I actually did some guest art for Memokeen’s printed version of her slapstick BL-comic Cockblock Kitties (which you also can read online)! I really liked the premise of the comics, two guys trying to have sex but always gets interrupted by cats, and the designs of the main characters are just awesome!
